چکیده
An experiment was carried out to study the “Effect of different biostimulants on growth, yield and quality chilli (Capsicum annuum L) under prayagraj agro climatic conditions” during August, 2022 January 2023 at Horticulture Research Farm, Department Horticulture, Naini Agriculture Institute, Sam Higginbottom University Agriculture, Technology Sciences. The had eleven treatments replicated thrice in a randomized block design. It concluded that application rendered their significant effect almost all growth characters as well chilli. Treatments were given with concentrations biostimulant products such Escort @ 1, 1.5, 2 2.5 ml per litre, Cheetha 2, 3 litre Baanam 45 ,60 75 days after transplanting whereas water sprayed control plants. treatment T7 i.e. product ml/l found superior terms plant height (64.39 cm), spread (61.5cm), number branches (8.11), flowers cluster (11.77), fruits (79.33), fruit length (12.77cm), girth (2.47cm), weight(4.29g), plant(395.67g), plot(2.37 kg), hectare (14.67t/ha) ,Total Soluble Solids (oBrix) (4.97),Ascorbic acid content (144.67 mg/100g) minimum taken for first flowering (51.67 days) 50% flowering(56.67 days). Among treatments, highest Gross return (Rs/ha) (2,93,000), Net (1,67,137), benefit cost ratio (2.32) also obtained from (T7), is ml/l.

Application of Nitrogen and Potassium efficiency on the growth and yield of chilli Capsicum annuum L
Chilli plants botanically referred to as genus Capsicum is the member of Solananceae family. It is the native to the Tropical South America and Brazil. The genus Capsicum consists of about 20species and only four species are under cultivation, out of which C. pendulum and C. pubescens are restricted to the South and Central America. The other two species such as C. annuum and C. frutescens are ...
متن کاملThe Effect of the Arbuscular Mycorrhizal (AM) Fungus Glomus intraradices on the Growth and Yield of Chilli (Capsicum annuum L.) Under Salinity Stress
The present investigation was aimed at determining the effects of arbuscular mycorrhiza on growth and yield of chilli plants grown under salinity condition. Seeds of chilli were sown in sand beds in size 5×1m under shade net condition at Botanical Garden, Department of Botany, Annamalai University. Forty days old seedlings (DAS) were transplanted into pots (one seedling per pot) until the fruit...
متن کاملGenotoxicity Effect of Ethyl Methanesulfonate on Root Tip Cells of Chilli (Capsicum annuum L.)
Ethyl methanesulfonate is a synthetic compound widely used as a mutagen, teratogen and brain carcinogen and as a research chemical. While, the toxicity and carcinogenicity of ethyl methanesulfonate on humans and animals have been studied, less is known about its genotoxicity to plants. In this study, the genotoxic effects of ethyl methanesulfonate were investigated with growing chilli seedlings...
